Milan's Autumn Colors: New Season from Prada and Gucci

The two undisputed peaks of Milan Fashion Week presented two completely different universes. The collection signed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons created intellectual beauty with cuts inspired by white lab coats.

The deliberate choice of synthetic fabrics in Prada's 'Chemical Romance'-themed collection this season was read as a critique of fast fashion. The pieces under the transparent nylon top layers seemed to ask the question 'what is the essence of clothes?'
